Where are the best places to find love? Here’s a list to help you get started!
- It’s always good to take another look at who you already know. Many women suddenly have the realization that her husband is a person they have already known for a long time. Sometimes we think we know everybody. Could it be that we have not really “looked through” some people in our friend group yet?
- Multiply your acquaintances! The single life is the best time to make new friends. You have the energy and time to get to know lots of people, which is an awesome thing!
- Location matters. You can meet new people almost anywhere. But remember: Where you go makes a difference! The location partly determines the people, so let yourself be guided by your hobbies and interests. It is actually quite logical; When you participate in things that you enjoy doing, you automatically get to know people with similar interests.
- Location doesn’t always matter. On one hand, it depends on where you meet people. On the other hand, it doesn’t. You never know where the right one is waiting.
- Meet friends of friends! Chances are your friends know people who have a lot in common with you. “Bring a Friend” is a good motto for an evening out. At parties and events, it is important to talk to everyone, especially to those you don’t know yet. Make sure not to overlook anyone!
- Don’t be afraid of events for singles! There are a lot of people that oppose these kinds of events, but what’s wrong with them? Men and women in similar life situations meet there, with the same desire – to meet someone! You might want to meet your spouse in a romantic way, but that’s hardly ever the case. But this doesn’t happen very often. Where you first met is not important – it’s the love you share with the person that truly matters.
- Check the internet! A good part of socialization has shifted to the internet – so your searching should partly wander there. The internet can be a great help for those that don’t live in big cities. Even those who don’t like going to parties have the chance to get to know someone in peace and without social pressures. On the internet, everyone is equally extroverted or introverted, shy or loud. By the way: The parents of Joseph Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI) got to know each other through a newspaper announcement, the forerunner of the single websites!
